This was the sorry sight following a tractor fire in Boyton on the Devon/Cornwall border yesterday afternoon.
At just after 3pm on Wednesday (September 2) crews from both counties were called to a fire that taken hold of a tractor towing a slurry spreader in the Boyton field.

A fire engine from Holsworthy and one from Launceston, as well as a water carrier from Liskeard, attended and successfully extinguished it.
