A tractor was totally destroyed by fire in a field in Sutcombe, Devon yesterday afternoon (Thursday, October 15).
Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service received reports of a tractor on fire and mobilised at just after 3pm.
A fire appliance from Holsworthy, another from Bude and a water carrier from Barnstaple attended the scene.
On arrival they found the tractor to be 'well alight'.

They put the fire out using two breathing apparatus wearers, a hose reel jet, a safety jet and a compressed air foam jet.
The fire completely destroyed the tractor and duty of care was left with the owner.
The cause of the fire was deemed to be be accidental.
