A barn storing hay and straw caught fire in North Devon overnight (August 6).
Fire control was called to Westleigh at 2.55am with reports of a barn on fire.
When they arrived at the scene, fire crews from Cullompton, Wellington, Bridgwater and Tiverton found a barn holding hay and straw fully on fire.
A spokesperson for Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said: "Upon arrival crews confirmed the barn to be fully involved in fire with straw and hay stored within and the Incident Commander made pumps four for additional manpower.
"Crews are utilising a ground monitor as well as a defensive approach for this incident."
At 7.30am the fire service confirmed that the fire is now out.
Crews have left the scene but plan to make more visits during the day so that they can check for hot spots.
