Crews have spent the early morning fighting a fire on a farm in North Devon.
The fire service was called at 5.42am this morning (Friday, May 27) to reports of a barn on fire on a farm near Holsworthy Beacon.
Fire crews from Holsworthy, Hatherleigh and Torrington were mobilised to the farm in Milton Damerel.
On arrival at the scene they found a fire within the roof of the building which measured approximately 20 metres x 40 metres.

Some three hours later the fire service reported that firefighters were making "steady progress" in tackling the fire wearing breathing apparatus and through cutting away and dampening down areas.
By 9.45am the fire was out, leaving the barn 50 per cent damaged by the flames and smoke.
