The multi breed of Blue Texel, Badger Face Texels, Beltex and Rouge sheep at Worcester at the beginning of September saw a top call of 2,000gns for the champion Blue Texel ram lamb.
Three animals hit the top call of 1,800gns at the Welsh National Texel Sale, Welshpool, with the first of these being a shearling ewe from Messrs Boden and Davies’ Sportsmans flock, BGS2306679.
Shearling rams sold to 1,500gns and shearling ewes to 720gns in the Welsh Beltex Club’s sale in Ruthin.
