Cornwall's Farming Health Hub will be at the Royal Cornwall Show this year and is aiming to engage with farmers to find out how best to meet and deliver the needs of the community.
The Farming Health Hub aims to make a difference and to offer support, guidance, advice and a network for the farming community to readily access.
The message from the Hub is: "let’s try and find a way in which we can all make a difference so that the farming industry can flourish through these current changes and grasp opportunities as they are presented."
Following the success of the Information Day held at Royal Cornwall Showground, the team recently held the first meeting of the Farming Health Hub Advisory Group. The project is gathering pace and is now working with various organisations across the private, public and voluntary sectors to develop a better understanding of what can be offered to the farming community.
Last week, Jon James from the Hub attended a National Farming Resilience Conference in Stratford-Upon-Avon which was attended by a number of organisations from across the industry.
The team is attending the Show on the Thursday and Friday with support from the Royal Cornwall Agricultural Association, Mole Valley Farmers and Cornwall Young Farmers.
Alongside meeting farmers and their family, the team has also been invited to attend a number of events, and Radio Cornwall will be covering their story.
