A man who sadly died after an incident involving a farm vehicle has been named, writes Amy Cole.
Somerset Coroner's Office has confirmed Andrew Denning, 55, has died after being run over by a farm vehicle on October 17.
The incident took place at a farm in Woolavington Road, near Puriton, at around 8.40am.
A post mortem examination has confirmed the cause of death as multiple injuries.
The coroner has adjourned the inquest of Mr Denning, from Chedzoy, near Bridgwater, until January 23 when a further internal case management review will take place.
Avon and Somerset Police is investigating the incident, alongside the Health and Safety Executive.
A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police said: "A man in his 50s sadly died after an incident involving a farm vehicle.
"The death is being investigated jointly by the police and HSE.
"Enquiries are on-going."
Police have confirmed no arrests have been made following the incident, and the name of the farm will not be released yet.
A HSE spokesperson said: "HSE is working jointly with the police and our enquiries are ongoing."
