Dehydrated cows were the subject of an unusual incident for Avon Fire and Rescue service in Langford.
On Tuesday, January 7 crews from Winscombe and Weston fire stations were mobilised to assist cattle with no water supply.
On arrival, firefighters found the farmer and plumber were having issues supply water to the herd and were concerned for the animal’s welfare having been without water for 24 hours.
Crews remained on scene to help fill large water tanks with a water shuttle.
