A Peregrine Falcon was found in a vehicle that was stopped by police in Wiltshire.
Officers from Wiltshire Police’s specialist operations department said they had stopped the car near Pewsey on Sunday night (September 6).

The occupants of the vehicle were believed to have been involved in poaching. They had with them what appeared to be a Peregrine Falcon, wearing a hood typically used by falconers hunting with the birds of prey.
Posting a picture of the bird on Twitter, the officers wrote: “Not something you see every day.”
