A tractor was destroyed by fire in a Devon field yesterday afternoon.
Crews from Colyton, Seaton and Bridport were sent to Colyton Hill, Whitford just after 5pm on Wednesday, September 16.
The tractor was well alight but the crew extinguished the fire with compressed air foam, as can be seen in the photo.

Colyton Fire Station reported that the tractor driver acted quickly when he realized there was a problem and got straight out of the vehicle and moved to safety whilst dialling 999.
The farmer said: "That's why we need our local rural fire station."
The cause of the fire is believed to be accidental.
