Greenslade Taylor Hunt report the largest ever weekly November entry of fresh milk saw a remarkable trade, which reflected the excellent quality entry forward.
12 cows and heifers over £2000, when a larger entry of cows attracted a lot of interest. Richard Lawrence of Honiton led the way for the second week running when his pedigree 2nd calvers realised £2280, £2120 and £1800, to average £2067. Also £2000 and £1900 from DWT, EG & PW Jones. Goats (73)
A reasonable entry of 73 goats sold to an exceptional level of demand. Largest cull goats to £140 from Verney Enterprises. Others to £138, £129.50 and £124 from J Nichols & Son. Overall average up to £103.29.
Stock Ram (1)
A single stock ram sold to £165 for a Charollais shearling, which had already seen work this season.

Greenslade Taylor Hunt report a reduced entry sold to an easier trade for cull sows and stores. Trade holding for the fat pigs.
Weaners (62)
Another good entry – easier trade when the best from WG Edwards sold to £40 and £31 from K Lye. A pen of young British Lops from A Jones sold well to £26/head.
Cull Sow & Boars (5)
Small entry – easier trade as expected. Medium sow from J Jones to £82. Large boar to £60.
Forward Stores (87)
Another very good entry with a good run of 30 (5 pens) from LE Miller to £126 and £125. Good light Pietrain cross to £117 from R Turner and medium weights from RE Fewings to £120. Trade holding firm.
FODDER
Greenslade Taylor Hunt report the first collective fodder sale saw a bright trade with reasonable quantities trading despite being early in the season. There was good demand for hay and haylage that was priced right. As expected, straw values were strong but vendor expectations still exceeding demand in some instances.
