Geronimo, the beleaguered alpaca, may be killed this evening (Friday).
He was given a second 24 hour reprieve.
Defra officials said they would not attempt to enforce the destruction warrant before today at 5pm.
The alpaca on a Wicklaw farm has twice tested positive for bovine TB.

Owner Helen Macdonald has been denied the third test that she wants carried out to prove her belief that the tests are returning false positive results.
However, she has said that when Defra officials arrive to euthanise Geronimo, she will not break the law.
“I’ve got the world behind me and there are a few detractors who don’t understand the case and I would say to those people look at the facts before you comment,” she said.
“Defra have a choice. They can either work with us or they can try and kill him in front of the world.”
