Trade was on fire at the 28th Annual Dairy Event at Holsworthy Livestock Market on Wednesday (November 10).
The freshly calved heifers saw a top call of £3,300 for Willsbro Lambda Z 415 on behalf of Wills Bro Ltd of Wadebridge.
This was closely followed by ‘Willsbro Country Raven 139’ a September calved heifer giving 43kgs and reaching £3,200.
Trade for thee in milk cows was described as "electric" with £2,700 achieved twice.
This included for the animal crowned overall champion of the day, Willsbro Calunet Dolly 62 VG85 SP.
Speaking after the sale, dairy auctioneer and director of Kivells, Mark Bromell, said: “A large crowd of buyers were present around the ring boosted by over 500 viewers on MartEye with 31 different successful buyers.
"We were delighted to sell cattle to four nations at the dairy event, England, Wales, Scotland & Ireland.”
