Tress are being given away to farmers and landowners for free in Devon.
Devon Wildlife Trust is running 'Saving Devon's Treescapes' to increase the number and biodiversity of trees being planted in Devon.
The charity also hopes to counteract the effects of Ash Dieback Disease, reduce carbon dioxide and support the Queen's Platinum Jubilee 2022 'Plant a Tree for the Jubilee' scheme - the Queen's Green Canopy.
If you have space for new trees on land which you own, such as fields, scrub land, verges, hedgerows, small-holdings, you are invited to contact the Saving Devon Treescapes project team or go to one of the Free Tree Hubs being set up across the county.
The hubs give out one to five trees to the public free of charge.
If you would like more than five trees, it can be arranged in advance.
There is a Free Tree Hub in Kingsbridge on January 15, 2022 in the Town Square between 10am - 1pm.
