A horse box trailer has been stolen from the Wedmore area of Somerset.
The box is an Ifor Williams in a maroon/burgundy colour, similar to the photo above which has been shared by police on social media.
The trailer was taken between 10.30am and 1.20pm on Wednesday, April 13.
Police are asking people to call them on 101 with any information about the theft, quoting reference number 5222087389.
There is currently a surge in the theft of horse trailers.
The change in towing rules has resulted in more new, young trailer drivers - amidst a scarcity of horse trailers.

This increase in demand and decrease in supply is fuelling a rise in horse trailer theft.
With this recent increase in trailer theft, owners are being encouraged to be extra vigilant as any delay between the theft of a trailer and it being reported to the police can prove costly.
