A John Deere telehandler went for £30,000 at a recent dispersal auction for a Yelverton farmer.
The auction was held on behalf of Ray Piper and his family of Woolacombe Farm prior to their move to the Isles of Scilly.
Ray has been slowly dispersing more than 700 items of his well-maintained machinery since October through Stags Online timed auctions, and the final sale closed on April 12.
The sale featured more than 110 lots, ranging from telehandlers and tractors, to tables and toolboxes - and nearly 2,000 bids were placed.
The top price paid was for a 2004 John Deere 3215 telehandler, which was in remarkable condition for its age.
It received 101 bids before finally selling at a staggering £30,000 to a private buyer in Exeter.
A 2003 John Deere 6310 SE 4WD tractor, again in excellent condition, found its new home in with a local farmer Yelverton for £25,500.
Next was a 2015 Volkswagen Amarok pick up, which headed to North Tawton shortly after selling for £17,750.
The last of the larger value lots was a Hanix (Kubota) H75B 7.5T excavator which sold for £17,250 to a buyer from Newton Abbot.
Also selling to the same home was a 2010 Tierre Tigrone revers flair topper, at £3,300.
Other four figure lots included a circular table saw and log splitter for £1,900, a Peak 10’ single axle tipping trailer for £1,800 and a Protech P220 and post rammer for £1,200.
