A fatal accident inquiry has found that young Turriff farmer Caroline Rennie died after attempting to jump onto a moving tractor before falling and being killed.
The accident occurred last year on April 3 in a field beside Turriff.
The inquiry into her death told Banff Sheriff Court that the death was caused by 'multiple injuries following an incident on a farm'.
Neither the Crown nor lawyers acting for Ms Rennie’s family are seeking any findings in terms of any precautions or defects that may have led to the accident.
The death occurred in a field by the A947 Banff to Aberdeen around three miles south of Turriff.
Miss Rennie, 21, was working with her father at the time, who was an eyewitness to her death.
Tributes at the time described her as 'full of life, full of fun and much loved'.
Miss Rennie was also popular member of Turriff Young Farmers’ Club.
