A barn in North Devon was saved from destruction by fire crews this morning.
The fire service was called at 10.17am with reports of a barn on fire in the Romansleigh area.
Crews from Chulmleigh, South Molton, and Witheridge were mobilised.
The barn was around 20x15 metres and is used as as workshop.
Firefighters found tools and racking on fire.

Wearing breathing apparatus they put the fire out using hose reel jets and a covering jet.
Their swift work resulted in the barn being damaged by just ten per cent.
