High prices were paid for classic tractors collected by an expert Devon dealer.
More than 60 classic tractors and selected vehicles from the Rodney Cowle collection were sold in Winkleigh on Saturday (May 28).
Cheffins hosted the on-site sale on behalf of the well-known enthusiast and machinery dealer.
Many of the tractors and vehicles on offer were sourced by Mr Cowle throughout the UK, Europe and the USA, and saw high prices paid.
Highlights on the day included £53,600 for a 1989 Ford 7810 Silver Jubilee, £50,384 for a County 1184, £43,952 for a 1985 Massey Ferguson 4880, £31,088 for a 1978 John Deere 4850 and £30,016 for a Ford 8730.
Oliver Godfrey, head of the machinery department at Cheffins, said: “The second part of the Rodney Cowle collection saw much pre-sale interest, as Rodney is known for having a fantastic eye for original classic tractors, and has been able to source some rare, quality examples from across the world.
"The sale saw a buoyant trade with a great attendance but also tons of bidders signed up online.
