A Land Rover belonging to a much-loved charity in Devon has been stolen.
The Defender was an essential piece of kit for The Donkey Sanctuary.
It was stolen from a garage forecourt in Sidmouth sometime between 5.30pm on Wednesday, May 25 and 8.30am the following morning.
It had been awaiting a small repair.
The vehicle is a 2001 Land Rover Defender 90 TD5 with the registration number WJ51 KZG.
It is green and has a white hardtop roof.
Staff used it daily at the sanctuary as it was an essential tool in helping to care for the charity’s rescued and relinquished donkeys.

Devon and Cornwall Police are investigating the theft and ask anyone with information to call them on 101 quoting the log number 384.
