Two tractor drivers have been reported for towing unsecured loads of hay bales.
Both trailers were carrying 17 hay bales, which weigh a ton each, meaning each trailer was carrying 17 tonnes.
None of the bales on either trailer were secured in any way, posing a significant risk to other road users.
An officer of the Devon and Cornwall Roads Policing Team stopped the drivers and reported them.
He shared the photo on social media and wrote: "A pair of tractors this time, neither having any load security, so nothing to prevent these 1-tonne bales coming off the trailer.
"All loads, of whatever type, MUST be adequately secured. Drivers reported."
Not even an hour earlier, the same officer stopped a "ridiculously overladen" tractor towing a trailer piled high with stone.
