Cornwall's young farmers have a new team leading the way.
On September 27 the new Cornwall YFC officer team and new county officers were elected for the new YFC year at the Executive Committee AGM.
Tom Retallick of St. Columb Young Farmers was chosen as the new county chairman, Jordan Edyvean of Roche Young Farmers was elected as vice chairman and Sophie Olds of Madron Young Farmers selected as Junior Vice Chairman.
Along with the newly elected GP chairman, Becky Howard of Wadebridge Young Farmers, and GP vice chairman, Milly Bersey of Liskeard Young Farmers, the clubs are set for a great year ahead.
The Cornwall Federation of Young Farmers' Clubs is a group of more than 1,000 young people aged between 10 and 28 years old who live in the county.
A young person doesn't have to be a farmer to join a YFC. Getting together, members team-build, raise funds for the local community and have fun learning new skills.
If you are interested in joining a YFC, call 01208 893080 or email office@cornwallyfc.co.uk.
