A farmer was trapped upside down in a tractor on a busy main road near Dorchester this morning (Monday).
The fire service was called just after 8.30am with reports of the overturned tractor on its roof in a hedge - with the driver trapped in the cab - on the A35 near Kingston Russell.
Fire crews from Dorchester and Bridport were mobilised.
On arriving at the scene they found that the driver had managed to free themselves and was being tended to by paramedics.

No action was needed by firefighters.
Traffic in the area was expected to continue to build for some time.
