A racecourse in Somerset has been the target of high-value machcinery thieves.
A large quantity of machinery and tools were stolen from Wincanton Racecourse in the middle of the night on Tuesday, November 22.
The thieves got away with two John Deere lawn mowers, a John Deere Gator and a large quantity of Stihl power tools, hedge trimmers, strimmers and blowers sometime between midnight and 12.30am.

Police are asking for the public’s help in finding the stolen machinery and tools.
They are also appealing for any witnesses who may have been in the area or live nearby and may have seen or heard anything suspicious.
