A large piece of farm machinery worth nearly £46,000 as new that was stolen from Dorset has been found in Cheshire.
The Herbst Agri-Crusher was recovered in Cheshire following cross county work by Dorset Police Rural Crime Team and their colleagues in the Cheshire Police Rural Crime Team.
An investigation was launched by Dorset's Rural Crime Team following enquiries related to an ongoing investigation.
Following enquiries, yesterday (Friday) officers from Cheshire's Rural Crime Team raided an address in the Northwich area where they then found the stolen agri-crusher.
Police Constable Sebastian Haggett of the Dorset Rural Crime Team, said: “We will continue to work collaboratively with other police forces in order to identify those responsible for these thefts.
