A person was taken to hospital after a crash on the A35 yesterday.
The incident, which involved a tractor and a van, took place on the westbound carriageway of the A35 at the Puddletown Bypass shortly before 5pm on Tuesday, December 13.
The road was closed for several hours while emergency services dealt with the crash. The highways authority was also notified due to oil and debris on the road.
The carriageway later reopened at approximately 8pm.
A statement from Dorset Police said: "We received a report of a collision on the A35 Puddletown Bypass near to the Troy Town junction. It involved a van and a tractor.

"Officers attended, along with the ambulance service, and one person was taken to hospital for treatment to injuries that were not believed to be serious.
"No arrests were made."
