The Christmas on the Farm 2022 fun competition has two human winners – and six four-legged ones.
We asked readers to take photos showing the festivities on their farm, whether of people, animals or decorations. The competition is just for fun, with the prize being the winning photos featured in South West Farmer.
We are delighted to announce that Stephanie Hooper, who farms in Castle-an-Dinas, Cornwall, was declared the winner.
Stephanie appears to have taken no prisoners when persuading her animals to get into the Christmas spirit.
Along with Zwartbles donning amazing headgear and her bedecked farm dog grinning enthusiastically for the camera, she also managed to capture the rarest of sights, Father Christmas astride a tinsel-decorated bull.
Rachel Allan, who farms near Bridport in Dorset, is the runner-up. Not only did she manage to capture a photo of the handsome and self-assured Beckham, the Devon Closewool ram, but she made the beautiful Christmas wreath he’s proudly wearing herself.
To Beckham’s credit, he didn’t chomp through it before a photo could be taken!
