The driver of a 4x4 towing a trailer full of sheep has been fined after being stopped by police in Wiltshire.
The trailer came to the attention of t4he roads policing team when officers noticed that the lights were faulty and there was no index showing.
They stopped the Mitsubishi Shogun driver and, upon examination, they found the trailer hitch and wires to be dangerous.
What's more, the car was found to have no MOT.
Usually, the police would seize the vehicle and trailer, but in this instance, the trailer was loaded with sheep, so police officers had to escort the 4x4 and its load.

The driver was issued with a Traffic Offence Report and a Fixed Penalty Notice to the tune of £200, and was handed three points to their licence.
