A tractor and the trailer it was towing caught fire on a Devon road yesterday afternoon (Tuesday, May 2).
The fire service was called just before 5.30pm with a report of a tractor on fire on a road near Bradninch.
It mobilised fire engines from Middlemoor and Tiverton together with a water foam carrier from Danes Castle.
When firefighters arrived on the scene they found not just a tractor on fire but the trailer it was towing well alight, too.
Thankfully, the tractor driver was un-injured.

Wearing breathing apparatus, the fire crews put the fire out with a pair of hose reel jets, using thermal imaging cameras to check for hotspots.
Devon and Cornwall Police closed Cullompton Hill in Cullompton in both directions to and from Bradninch whilst the highways team cleared up and considered resurfacing the road.
