Police are seeking the owner of a mini-digger discovered in a raid on a property near Wimborne.
The Takeuchi TB016 mini-excavator was recovered from an address in the Wimborne area on Friday, March 10 but officers have not been able to find its owner.
They say that they found items with the digger that are linked to a reported burglary in Sherborne but, despite their ongoing efforts, they've been unable to find out where the mini-digger was taken from.
Police constable Kate Schofield, of Dorset Police’s Rural Crime Team, said: “We would urge anyone who recognises this item of machinery to please get in contact with us so we can reunite it with its owner.
“At this time we have been unable to ascertain where the mini-digger was taken from and it may even have been stolen from outside of the county.”
