A proposal made for a new woodland in the South West will be discussed next month.
The Forestry Commission has plans to create this new are on Exmoor and is holding a public consultation on July 3.
Forestry England’s Woodland Creation Team has plans for a proposed new woodland near Bye Common on Exmoor.
The Bye Common Consultation will be held at Winsford Village Hall, Exford Road, Winsford, Somerset, TA24 7JE from 4-7pm and the the team is encouraging those who hold an interest to come along, hear plans and have their say.
Bye Common in West Somerset is a popular space for walkers, runners and cyclists as well as those enjoying nature. It provides extensive views over the Exe Valley with potential sightings of wild red deer and waterside birds.
