An eastbound lane of the A35 was temporarily closed due to a broken-down tractor.
A lane of the Puddletown bypass A35 was closed for a period of around two hours earlier this afternoon.
Police were called to an eastbound section of the main road between the A354 and the Troy Town turn-off at 2.27pm today (Wednesday, September 20), following reports of the broken-down vehicle.
Officers closed one lane as the incident was dealt with.
The road was finally reopened at around 4.45pm.
Traffic was reported to have coped well.
