A BRAND-NEW farming show, aimed at agricultural workers in the South West, is taking place later this year.
The Southern Counties Farming & Machinery Show will be at Newbury Showground on Wednesday, November 15 and is free to attend.
Kelsey Media, publishers of UK Farming Magazines such as Agricultural Trader, Profi, Farm Machinery, and Vineyard and Crop Production, has created the event to bring together premier agricultural manufacturers, suppliers, dealers and distributors for a day alongside live demonstrations, advice and seminars.
Topics that will be bought up during the seminars include grain marketing post-CAP, Red Diesel rules, crop nutrition, and agricultural robotics.
This one day show will be a key networking event for farmers, as well as those who work in agricultural transport, contracting and farming-related activities across the South of England.
Exhibitors at the show include Chandlers, Farol, Kuhn, Openfield, OMEX and more. There will also be ranges of construction and outdoor power equipment alongside the latest livestock and arable machinery.
Symonds & Sampson will also be hosting a live auction on the day.
Paul Heard, from Symonds & Sampson's Agricultural Auctioneers, said: “Buyer or seller, it’s the perfect opportunity to trade machinery at the end of the season.
"While live online bidding for selected lots gives your items the boost of reaching a nationwide audience.”
The show is sponsored by Samagri Ltd, sole UK importers of the Virkar direct drill range.
