IT is less than a month to go until a popular winter fair comes to Cornwall.
The best of the farming and food industry will be celebrated at the Cornish Winter Fair on Saturday, November 18 and Sunday, November 19 2023.
Entries are now open for the Wadebridge Prime Stock show on November 18, which has been running for 144 years. The schedule includes cattle and sheep showing, produce, craft and cookery classes. Entries close on Monday, October 30.
There will also be more than 100 trade stands, showcasing the best Cornish food and drink, as well as handmade gifts and crafts. Cuisines include Thai, american, mexican, greek, Cornish pasties, a hog roast and more. And there is free entry and free parking for visitors.
Children can enjoy the Food and Farming Educational Discovery Zone, which includes activies to help them learn about the countryside, food and farming.
Sponsors of the Cornish Winter Fair include Cornish Mutual, Kernow Farm Vets and NFU Mutual.
The fair is taking place at the Royal Cornwall Events Centre, Wadebridge.
