SHEPPY'S Cider has struck sponsorship deals with Taunton Titans RFC and Taunton Town FC.
The Somerset-based cider producer, founded over 200 years ago, will be the sole provider of cider at Taunton Titans RFC, offering its acclaimed 200 cider, Original Cloudy cider, and Cider with Raspberry.
Commercial coordinator at Taunton Rugby Club, Nick Mason, expressed delight over the partnership, highlighting shared values between the two organisations.
He said: "Taunton RFC is delighted to be associated with a local company in Sheppy’s Cider, from our initial meeting it was clear that both parties share so many of the same values and we can’t wait to see the relationship get started.
"Somerset is cider country and we are looking forward to our home supporters getting behind the fantastic products, whilst supporting their rugby club and also a local company."
In addition, Sheppy’s will be the exclusive draught cider provider at Taunton Town FC.
Fans will be able to get their hands on Sheppy’s 200 and a variety of bottled ciders, including Original Cloudy, and a Low Alcohol variety.
Managing director of Sheppy’s Cider, David Sheppy, said: "This is an exciting opportunity to bring our love of craft cider and local sports together and we can’t wait to share this experience with Taunton Titans RFC and Taunton Town FC fans.
"Both clubs share our passion for supporting the local community and we’re looking forward to championing the best of Somerset sports."
Taunton Town FC chairman, Kevin Sturmey said: "We are delighted to partner with Sheppy’s Cider, the number one Taunton Cider, as we strive to enhance our community partnerships.
"There is so much more than just cider though and visiting them is a must as there really is something for everyone there.
"We look forward to a successful, prosperous and enhancing partnership for many years to come."
For over two centuries, Sheppy’s has been crafting award-winning, premium ciders.
Under the stewardship of David Sheppy, the company continues to carry the torch of traditional cider-making into the future.
These new partnerships not only boost the company's visibility, but promise to enhance the match day experience for sports fans with a slice of Somerset’s cider tradition.
