A FARMING business has launched a new event for shareholders, members and customers.
Mole Valley Farmers is hosting a Farmer Expo for the first time in the new year. It will be held on Wednesday, January 31, from 9am until 4pm at the Matford Centre in Exeter, Devon.
Attendees will be able to meet with more than 50 of the industry's leading manufacturers and suppliers of animal health products, timber and fencing supplies, milk replacers, dairy hygiene products, cattle handling equipment and more.
As well as this, key members of the Mole Valley Farmers' technical and commercial teams will also be on hand to meet with farmers and offer help and advice. The expo will also include seminars with speakers from across the sector, who will discuss the latest market trends and developments; nutrition; soil management and reducing farm carbon footprints.

Head of sales at Mole Valley Farmers, Sam Holdstock, said: “Through cooperation and collaboration with our suppliers we are perfectly placed to help our farmers plan for the year ahead and take advantage of great value products and industry leading advice and expertise.
“The day will offer something for all farm types and systems with the opportunity to talk to our suppliers and quiz them on their products and services. We’re also excited by our seminar programme that will feature industry and technical experts.
“There will be lots of special and exclusive show deals as well, so it provides a really good opportunity to plan for the season ahead, secure some great prices and get expert advice to help with the core aims of improving productivity, profitability and sustainability.”
Tickets to the event are free, and guests will receieve bacon rolls on arrival and a hot lunch. The Farmer Expo takes place at the Matford Livestock Centre, which is home of the Exeter Livestock Market, in Marsh Barton (EX2 8FD).
Suppliers supporting the event include headline sponsors M&M Timber, Cargill, Strathclyde Nutrition, Nukamel, IAE, Nettex and Deosan.
