A college that provides farming and agriculture courses is hosting an open day event later this month.
Duchy College's Stoke Climsland campus is opening its doors to prospective students on Saturday, January 27 2024 between 10am and midday.
Students who are interested in studying at the campus, can explore the facilities and ask questions on the day. Advisors will be on hand to help with any questions about courses, transport and learning support.
The college offers a range of courses including: agriculture and countryside management; animal management and veterinary nursing; equine; land-based engineering and technology; military and protective services; as well as Higher Education and Adult Leisure courses.
Head of the Duchy College campus, Venetia Summers, said the staff are 'thrilled' to welcome prospective students to the site.
“Whether it’s a love of horses, sport, protective services, heavy machinery or animal care, nobody forgets their time at Duchy College Stoke Climsland," she said.
"All of our staff are dedicated to providing a supportive and inspiring learning environment and we’re looking forward to welcoming potential students and their families to our campus.”
The college has a future farm research facility, an equine yard, animal management centre, a gym and dog grooming facilities. It is set in a 660 acre rural estate.
