DO you want to find out how much your farm is worth? An estate agent is providing a free farm valuation for a week in February.
Farmers and landowners across the south west are being invited to take up the offer from Symonds & Sampson. The week will be held from February 5 until 9 2024.
Symonds & Sampson has said they saw a 15% increase in the supply of land to market in 2023. They say rising interest rates started influencing buyers apetites, so they land market 'cooled a little'.
However, they add that buyer demand still remains strong with a 'much more diverse' range of buyers looking for land.
Andrew Tuffin, head of the farm agency department, said: “This is a chance to get an up-to-date market appraisal of your property.
“We cover the whole spectrum, from estates to paddocks and commercial farms to development opportunities. For landowners considering their options for the future, it’s a great opportunity to benefit from some free expert advice.”
