AN award-winning cider producer in Cornwall has announced two of its products will now be available in even more stores after securing a listing with a national retailer.
Cornish cider producer, Healeys, has secured a national listing with Tesco, which sees Rattler Peach and Rattler Pineapple stocked across 439 stores combined.
The two flavoured ciders add to Healeys’ Tesco listing of Rattler Original Cornish Cloudy Cyder, which is available in over 1,700 stores nationwide. As well as being part of Healeys’ strategic plan to expand the range to consumers, the listing also falls as part of Tesco’s commitment to supporting moderation and working with the new alcohol duty structure.
Megan Britton, Head of Sales at Healeys said: “As an independent family business, we’re already so proud to see our flagship cider, Rattler Original Cornish Cloudy Cyder listed nationally within leading supermarkets.
"The new deal with Tesco brings Rattler Peach and Rattler Pineapple to over 400 stores combined and forms the first part of our strategic plan to expand Healeys’ product availability to the consumer. We’ve seen a huge demand for lower ABV flavoured ciders, with consumers regularly suggesting alternative flavours to add to our expanding range.
"Every retail listing we secure is a real testament to the hard work and dedication of our small team here in Cornwall and we can’t wait to see more of the Rattler cider range appearing on shelves across the country over the coming weeks.
"We’re also really excited to see the reaction from Rattler fans across the UK, who have been longing to have our Peach and Pineapple ciders stocked in their local supermarkets - no doubt they’ll soon be asking for our other ciders to join them!”
Rattler Peach (3.4%) and Rattler Pineapple (3.4%) are vegan-friendly, and gluten-free. RRP £2.60 for 500ml. Both products will be included in Tesco’s Clubcard Price deal of 3 for £6 on selected beers and ciders.
The flagship Healeys cider, Rattler Original Cornish Cloudy Cyder, is also stocked in-store at Sainsburys, Asda and Morrisons nationwide.
