Two trailers and some farming equipment have been stolen from a farm near Blandford.
The items were were stolen from a farm in the area of Chettle between 11.40pm on Saturday, February 24 and 5.30am on Sunday, February 25.
Officers investigating the theft are now appealing for anyone with information to come forward and have issued images of the stolen trailers.
Police Constable Chandler Organ, of the Rural Crime Team, said: “I am appealing to anyone who has any information regarding the whereabouts of the stolen equipment to please get in touch.
“I would like to hear from anyone who saw the trailers being towed on the night of the incident travelling away from Chettle, possibly on the A354.
“As part of my appeal, I am issuing an image of one of the stolen trailers in the hope that someone will recognise it if the trailer is listed for sale or abandoned.
“I am pursuing a number of enquiries as part of the investigation and would ask anyone with information in relation to this theft to please contact Dorset Police.”
