POLICE are appealing for information after a GPS system was stolen from a tractor earlier this week.
The theft took place on a farm in the area of Mariansleigh in North Devon, between 6pm on Wednesday, February 28 and 1:30pm on Thursday, February 29.
Devon and Cornwall Police area appealing for witnesses and anyone with information in connection with the theft.
A spokesperson for the force said: "We ask those using GPS systems to consider pin enabling them (where possible), mark them with postcodes/etching/marking kit, and most importantly, remove them from vehicles when not in use and store them securely.
"Please be wary of any suspicious activity and make a note of descriptions and vehicle registrations, report any suspicious activity on 999."
