UPDATE: Devon and Cornwall Police have now identified the man they were looking to speak to in connection with the incident.
A spokesperson said: "Officers would like to thank the public for their assistance in this matter."
POLICE are appealing for information after a sheep was killed on Dartmoor last month.
On Friday, February 23, the sheep was killed by an Alsatian type dog.
Devon and Cornwall Police have released a picture of the of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the incident.
The incident happeed at Saddle Tor, Dartmoor, between 12:05pm and 12:30pm.
A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: "Police investigating the incident would like to identify the man pictured as they believe he may be able to assist with their enquiries.
"If you are able to help the investigation call police with information on 101, or via our website here, quoting reference number 50240045129."
