A full investigation is underway following the death of a man in his 30s at a farm site near Truro, on Thursday.
Devon and Cornwall Police were called to the scene at approximately 7:30am after reports of an industrial incident.
The Air Ambulance also responded, but upon arrival, the man was tragically pronounced deceased.
A force spokesperson said: "Police were called by the ambulance service at around 7:30 am on Thursday, April 11 following reports of an industrial incident at a field near Trispen, Truro
"Officers, along with the Air Ambulance, attended the scene where a male in his 30s was pronounced deceased. His next of kin have been informed.
“Police and Health and Safety Executive are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident."
The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) has also been notified and is assisting with the investigation.
"We are aware of this incident and making enquiries alongside Devon and Cornwall Police," explained an HSE spokesperson.
The incident is now under full investigation and a file will be prepared for the coroner.
