A FARM in Devon - complete with a well-equipped dairy unit - recently sold for £2.8million.
Kivells completed the sale of South Newton Farm in Chittlehampton, Umberleigh, Devon earlier this month.
As well as the farm sale, Kivells also sold the 140 head pedigree Newhampton dairy herd, youngstock and beef animals. They then held an on-farm dispersal sale of tractors, milking robots, and farm machinery.
The farm includes three properties, a traditional barn with development potential, a range of modern dairy farm buildings and approximately 120 acres of land. South Newton farmhouse is a Grade II Listed, five bedroom home. It sold against a guide price of £2.8million.
A spokesperson for Kivells said: "We wish Steve and Sam the very best for their new business venture and send best wishes to the purchasers of South Newton Farm, being a South Devon farming family.
"Any prospective vendors thinking of selling are welcomed to contact our farms and land co-ordinator Jackie Chegwyn or director Mark Bromell at our Holsworthy Office on 01409 253275 to discuss any potential sale options."
