IT’S been a busy few months for Storth Machinery, with the launch of some exciting new products and it’s that time of year where the summer shows start to take over.
At LAMMA we announced that we were entering the Anaerobic Digestion (AD) market and our first plant is now under construction, we can’t wait to share this experience with you as we hope to take you along with us on each step of the journey. Please do get in touch if you’re wanting any more information on our AD systems.
February saw the release of a new grant, Farming Equipment and Technology Fund (FETF) 2024. There were 17 different items of slurry equipment available on the grant, some equipment included fixed separators, mobile separators, flow meters, dribble bars, trailing shoes, reelers & centrifugal chopper pumps. With the Rural Payments Agency now informing people if they have been successful, keep in mind the range of products that we have to offer that comply with the grant requirements.
One item that we launched just in time for the grant was our mobile slurry separator which is skid based for easy moving. The mobile separator consists of a plug and play electric supply connection (3ph) and is supplied with a 7.5kW submersible feed pump and an optional long shaft pump or Positive Displacement pump option. The separated liquid discharge is gravity fed to a lagoon/pit, there is an option for a 5.5kW dry run pump or progressing cavity pump to pump the separated liquid away to storage. The mobile separator is capable of processing a minimum of 10m3/hr and can remove 20% by volume as a stackable fraction.
Another recent release was our Contractor Umbilical Trailer. We previously launched our ContractorPlus Umbilical Trailer at LAMMA and had some great feedback from this product, therefore we manufactured a simpler version for our contractors. This trailer will carry an engine pump station (EPS) along with the compressor. Whereas, the trailer launched at LAMMA was a top of the range machine that carried two reelers, compressor, toolbox, quad and an EPS.
We have an additional large product launch up our sleeves which will add to our ‘Apply It’ range. This product will complement our existing range and will be launched at the Royal Highland Show at the end of June, so make sure to keep a look out on our social media for this release.
