A RURAL insurer has recently announced an exciting merger in the south west.
NFU Mutual has announced that its Tiverton agency and South Molton agency have joined forces, forming the new NFU Mutual Tiverton and South Molton Agency.
Former South Molton agent, Stuart Holton, has officially retired from his role, but is planning to continue working out of the South Molton office until April 2025 in a consultancy position.
“I began my journey with NFU Mutual in 1988, moving from Lincolnshire to South Molton," said Stuart.
"What started as a temporary assignment turned into a lifelong commitment thanks to the warm welcome from the community.
“After 36 years, I'm passing the torch to my capable colleagues, Emily Mills and Pete Randerson, who will lead the newly merged agency.”
Stuart will officially retire next year after 37 years in South Molton, taking the opportunity over the next 12 months to thank the members and clients for their loyal support.
Pete added: “Stuart's contributions during the merger have been invaluable. We're grateful for his guidance as we step into this new chapter, and we are committed to delivering the same level of excellent service and professionalism we always have.”
The newly formed NFU Mutual Tiverton and South Molton Agency will retain the South Molton office and staff.
“This is a momentous occasion for us all," said Emily.
"We're thrilled to join forces and expand our reach, continuing to serve our customers with dedication and passion. With a team of 23 people and plans to recruit more, will allow our staff to continue to specialise and offer even more expertise in specific product areas.”
