A POPULAR agricultural show is returning at the end of this month.
The Launceston Show in Cornwall will taking place on Thursday, July 25, from 8:30am until 6pm. The event is a celebration of "community spirit, rural heritage and entertainment", according to organisers.
Visitors can take their children to the new children's area, with stalls, sweets, rides and more. There will also be the opportunity to take part in the magician and circus workshop.
For the first time, this year there will be a stage with a range of choirs, dance troupes and bands to keep visitors entertained.
There will also be livestock and equestrian rings, alongside competitions such as Best in Show.
Visitors will be able to browse a range of artisan crafts and food stalls. The Creative Community Marquee will include produce, preserves, baking, arts, crafts and more. The food stalls will offer a range of options, from Cornish pasties to street food.
The Launceston Show has been running since 1887. A free bus will be available from Launceston to the showground. Tickets cost £5 for children and £15 for adults (15+).
