Officers from Dorset Police have been taking part in a national operation targeting poachers in in the county.
Dorset Police's Rural Crime Team was out in force patrolling rural locations across Dorset that are known to be hotspots for people poaching and hare coursing.
Known as Operation Galileo, the operation specifically targets rural and wildlife crime.
A spokesperson from Dorset Police Rural Crime Team said: "On Saturday, July 27 officers patrolled rural locations as part of Operation Galileo.
"This is a national operation targeting poaching and hare coursing.
"With harvest in full swing, recently cut fields present an opportunity for those that commit wildlife crime to drive through fields and use their dogs to target wildlife.
"Dorset Police take these matters seriously and ask anyone who witnesses such crimes in progress to call 999."
