Two stolen baby goats have been returned home.
Rod and Millie, two goat kids, were stolen overnight from their home in east Dorset.
Fortunately, the pair were rather quickly located in fields near to the Three Legged Cross area and returned home.
The herds security has since been increased and enquiries into their theft remain ongoing.
A spokesperson for Dorset Police Rural Crime Team said: “Yesterday we were made aware of two goat kids, Rod and Millie, who had been stolen overnight in rural east Dorset. Fortunately Rod and Millie were quickly located in fields in the Three legged cross area, and were returned home.
“To prevent any further goat-nappings, we have upped Rod, Millie, and the rest of the herds security. Enquiries into this theft are ongoing.”
