A FARM on the outskirts of Dorchester which has diversified with camping, a café and a farm shop is now asking for a drinks licence.
Dewflock Farm at Winterborne Monkton is applying for a Premises Licence with public comments on the application open until August 13th.
In a statement submitted to Dorset Council the application says the farm diversified from 2016 when planning consent was granted for a café and shop in a converted pig shed, also used as a venue for pop up events and private parties.
During the quieter months the café/shop is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays although throughout the summer the business is open each day.
The application says the licence is being requested to allow visitors to have a drink while eating, or for take-out sales with the intention of keeping to ‘normal’ licensing hours.
